On the beautiful Durmitor, whose massif counts 48 peaks above 2,000 m a.s.l., the highest being Bobotov Kuk at 2,523 m a.s.l., and 17 lakes above 1,400 m a.s.l., just 4.5 km from the centre of Žabljak, lies the tourist complex “Sunny Village”, nestled in a sun-drenched valley with views of the Durmitor massif, only a few kilometres from Zminjičko, Barno, Riblje and Vražje lakes.
The “Sunny Village” tourist complex features 14 comfortable studio apartments and 4 villas of various configurations. The complex has open decks with benches, tables and chairs, bean bags, as well as a covered summer pavilion with benches, tables and chairs, a fireplace and a barbecue area. We also thought of our youngest guests – the complex has a children’s outdoor play area with a swing, slide, trampoline, balls, scooters and bicycles.
Our tourist complex is set in a peaceful natural environment and is an ideal destination for visitors who want to “escape” the hustle and bustle of the city and refresh themselves with clean mountain air.
Durmitor is a mountain massif located in the north-west of Montenegro and is part of the Dinaric Alps mountain system. It is one of the most beautiful natural areas in the Balkans, known for its impressive mountain peaks, glacial lakes and deep canyons.
We are the Čukić couple, whose greatest wealth is above all our large family, and we decided to direct our 15 years of experience in tourism to Durmitor. Known as lovers of nature and mountains, simplicity and good company, we chose to settle in Žabljak and made our family home right here in “Sunny Village”.
